Subway Canada Launches Never Miss Lunch Design Competition

The sandwich wrap papers at Subway are iconic; while every sub is unique, these unmissable papers bundle up Canadians’ favourite sandwiches from coast to coast.

In honour of Never Miss Lunch – Subway Canada’s commitment to child hunger initiatives in partnership with Food Banks Canada – artists of all ages (and skill sets!) are invited to submit original artwork to be featured on sandwich wraps nationwide, later this year.

On Wednesday, June 21st, $1 from every Footlong sandwich sold will support Subway Canada’s Never Miss Lunch program. Ahead of donation day, from June 1st – 18th, Canadians are invited to submit original designs inspired by the question, ”What’s the best thing about being a kid?’. Four winners will be selected, each will be given a $500 Subway gift card and elements of their design will be featured on limited edition sandwich papers used in Subway Restaurants across the country. As thanks for Canadians’ artistry, an additional $1 will be donated by Subway Canada to the Never Miss Lunch initiative for each design submission.

Never Miss Lunch supports the deployment of food packs to youth in need and is returning for a fifth milestone year in 2023. Artists can submit their designs online at nevermisslunch.ca for a chance to win!
