Starbucks Rewards and Mobile Order & Pay arrives at Canadian airports

Summer is here, and Canadians’ desire to travel is holding steady despite economic pressures. Almost six in ten Canadians believe it’s likely they will take a trip this summer according to an Ipsos survey.

As airports cope with ongoing congestion, travelers at select Canadian airports can now skip the line and enjoy their Starbucks coffee on-the go.

Just in time for a busy travel period, Starbucks Canada has extended its leading mobile ordering feature, Mobile Order & Pay, and Starbucks Rewards to the majority of Starbucks licensed stores located at major international airports including YYZ, YVR and YYC. The remaining licensed stores at these airports will roll out the feature by the end of the calendar year along with Starbucks located in grocery stores, hospitals and hotels.

Right now, Starbucks Rewards members travelling at YYZ, YVR and YYC airports can enjoy the added convenience of ordering their favourite Starbucks beverage and food items ahead of time and picking up their order before boarding their flight or as they arrive at their destination using the Starbucks app.

Seamlessly integrated into Starbucks App and Starbucks Rewards loyalty program, Mobile Order & Pay is a fast and easy way for Starbucks customers to order ahead, customize orders in-app, earn Stars that can be redeemed for free food or beverage items, and pay and pick up their purchases at their chosen Starbucks store.
