Sobeys, first Official Grocer of Team Canada, announces its Olympic partnership program

Empire Co., the Official Grocer of Team Canada, proudly launched Feed the Dream Olympic campaign today. As part of the Feed The Dream campaign, all athletes who represent Canada in Tokyo this summer will receive grocery cards redeemable for groceries at any of Empire’s banners, including Sobeys, IGA, Safeway, Foodland and Thrifty Foods.

Empire has made a long-term commitment to supporting the dreams of Canadian athletes from coast to coast who live in the same communities as the teammates proudly serve and recognize the support Team Canada athletes need to compete on the world stage. As part of the partnership, Sobeys Inc. is excited to provide all qualifying athletes with access to great food and nourishment.
