Lunar New Year Celebration at Metropolis at Metrotown
Ring in the Year of the Pig at Metropolis at Metrotown from February 1 – 19, 2019. Throughout the 19 day celebration, there will be lucky red envelope giveaways, beautiful lantern display, traditional lion dance, Travel through Asia photo booth, family fun Chinese Calligraphy and Lantern Making workshops and Chinese dance performances.
On February 6, come and wake up the lion at the Grand Court at 10am. The lion dance parade will proceed through the shopping centre and bring prosperity and good fortune to the stores.
In addition, Metropolis at Metrotown will host a red envelope giveaway – check their social media for exact times. You can also enter for a chance to win a $1000 Metropolis shopping spree.

February 16-18, 2019: 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm Travel through Asia Photo Booth – Have your photo taken against Instagram worthy backdrops of countries that participate in Lunar New Year celebrations.
