SkipTheDishes launches curated guide and custom designed blanket to celebrate National Eat Outside Day on August 31
In honour of National Eat Outside Day on August 31, SkipTheDishes has released their first-ever curated digital guide for Canadians with expert recommendations on where to eat, what to eat, and how to eat outside across the country.
Skip’s National Eat Outside Day Guide features tips and tricks from notable Canadians, including Team Canada volleyball players Megan and Nicole McNamara, Nunavut rock band the Jerry Cans, and broadcaster Tyrone Edwards, as they highlight their favourite local restaurants on the Skip network along with their picks on the most beautiful outdoor spots to eat at from coast to coast.
This digital guide explores all of the incredibly delicious restaurants partners on Skip, the most picturesque picnic destinations, the ultimate picnic playlist curated by The Jerry Cans, a Juno-nominated Indigenous musical group, and tips on how to set-up the perfect picnic!
As a proud Canadian brand, SkipTheDishes is all about celebrating local, so they’ve partnered with Jennifer Weatherhead, who has recommended local spots like Citadel Hill, Blooming Point Beach and Victoria Park for their top picks on where to dine outdoors in Atlantic Canada.
And to help Canadians get outside and celebrate in style, SkipTheDishes collaborated with Toronto-based design expert Candice Kaye to create a one-of-a-kind picnic blanket, available to win through Skip’s National Eat Outside Day website.
